Between the seller's attorney being based in NYC but practicing law in NJ (she wasn't good at it), my attorney being selectively responsive and apparently missing important emails, the seller's attorney observing a million religious holidays and being mostly unavailable, the fact that BOTH attorneys were so busy with court cases that my poor AR was of little priority, AND that ALL of this was going on around the holidays (Nov/Dec)???

A Master's Degree will only give you meaningful experience if you have a job you are working at the same time or before going to school- otherwise, you'll just take everything at face value, and then you'll get a rude awakening when you go out into the world where things aren't nearly so clean and a lot of the details your professor glossed over make all the difference in the world.I know roughly what I want (career wise), but I don't know enough to get a job in that field.

@Storm Silva Well if they ever 'awaken' (especially the 80% of 'agents' who QUIT within two years, when they can't "fish, in the big pond" with the "sales sharks," because they "don't have the work ethic," or simply aren't that outgoing, and/ or 'salesy...')

Bad information and unethical tactics are passed down like folklore.As to the learning, I'd say it not so much that you really learn something so much as it is an awakening or enlightenment.If you have a good grasp of the RE basics, the interests held, conveyance, business practices you are probably the sharpest guy in the room.They go through their system but they give the end results of a deal with enough information that, with knowledge, you can figure out what it is they do.I just attended one (Oh Boy, I just signed up) thread.
