With all written about the coaching and seminar industry here on BP I will just say this: the information given is often either elementary or incorrect, the 'coaches' are often reading from a script and are former salesman for the guru who were not successful, and the background of the guru being worshipped as a real estate god has often been massaged, rewritten, or recreated.  

Post-that conversation you can, gently, delve into a conversation and ask to change agents as you're more comfortable with someone else. 

In fact, if you buy a gentle fixer, improve it for a couple of years, and then rent it out, you can keep getting low interest and low down payments, up to 20 houses with some lenders. 

In our household the rental income does all the heavy lifting (covers living expenses) and her income is more like Monopoly money, and goes towards mani/pedi/massages, and crazy expensive "healthy" foods that she loves.

I can only ask God to be gentle at this point.

They look great on paper.That all said (as a gentle warning), There are great deals that can be found in other cities.
