I'm new to REI and somewhat recently moved to Houston.

I agree that we move on and focus on recovering the lost money and not loose faith in ourselves or legitimate partners. 

Assuming they are professional and skilled in the craft - alot of the issues you have faced, they will remediate and mitigate moving forward.

Mom and pops have left, the corporations are moving in.If you want to be a landlord, sell it and do your business in a more friendly state. 

I have a big dream to visit there one day; she has since moved back. :) Wishing you the best in your business. 

I never was able to coordinate a consistent quarterly meeting for planning, I never knew who to contact because they have multiple levels of their workers and people were constantly moving in and out of the organization.  

What seems most attractive for now seems to be multi-family markets starting out and eventually moving into 5-20 unit properties for growth. 

Stessa is getting ready to move from $20 per month to $35 per month unless you pay annually.

To me, this is a red flag.He's trying to keep liberals from wanting to move to Texas.

As someone new to real estate, I’m curious if going this route is a smart move for a beginner or if there are better ways to start investing.
