Someday, I may need coaches, teachers, mentors, friends, like-minded colleagues willing to help each other, along with all the other people on my power team.

Hey Nick,I'm 22 and by no means an expert but have had a few mentors suggest some reading.

However, real estate business is not that easy, so learn as much as you can through online resources and then look for a mentor.

First off, you should get with either Keller Williams or Coldwell Banker, they are generally regarded as the largest/most successful brokers in San Diego, but if you find a good mentor elsewhere and can get some 1 on 1 attention starting out, that's good too.

Just finished listening to first 100 episodes of the podcast.  Turned my commute to and from work into a learning experience. So many questions have been answered, everything's becoming clearer and clearer. Love BP!!!

Secondly, go to all meet ups in your area and make connections and see if there is a seasoned investor willing to mentor you in exchange for work.

But after speaking to mentors and brokers, I realize that I need to strengthen my background and experience before I am taken seriously when I ask for a seat at the table.  

My main goal right now is to try and find a mentor to help fill in some gaps as I stumble through this first lesson.

A mentor of mine by the name of Nick Ruiz had a podcast on BiggerPockets and through that, I was able to find this wonderful site chock full of RE info and those that are involved in RE.My immediate goal is to get started in Real Estate wholesaling (the right way lol) and eventually move into rehabs/fix and flips and eventually buy and holds.
