You were not afforded a reasonable (in most states, 30 days) amount of notice to re-market your property. 

On the flip side, I am in the process of acquiring over $1.5M in defaulted DSCR loans form borrowers who are your age that put 25% down but had no money to fix any of the problems  = lost the renters and walked from the property.

You pay a bit more, but you get exactly what you want and don't have to worry about maintenance for a while which is obviously a savings.I live in the Woodlands, so considering the location of my home and rental property, I'd ideally like to build this in the area of The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, Tomball, Klein, or Cypress.

Depending on the State in which the property is located, foreclosure starts through a judicial process or a non-judicial process. 

I would do some online research into Realtors in your area to see if you can make a connection.As @Michael Dumler pointed out, wholesalers are going to be a more reliable source for consistent off-market properties with margin.

Understanding exactly who is the decision maker for property is not as simple as looking through the assessor records.
