The Harold Washington Library center, and the planners at City Hall, have older zoning maps on file.

Might be worth it Just about every financial planner/adviser/etc will tell you that you need 3-6 months of all of your expenses in liquid cash that you don't touch. 

I knew I wanted to start investing in Real Estate years ago, but until I had my daughter 2 years ago I was not a follow through planner when it came to mapping out my future.

Other than that phase one of the project includes outside parking yet again the city is thinking they want me to have the planing commission approve the parking lot or at least have the city planner sign off on it.

Might be well worth your time to meet with a Planner at the City to go over what you have, and what may be allowed.
