When we schedule maintenance or an inspection, we always require tenants to remove the animal from the property or have it kenneled. 

It sounds like you're already ahead of the game by having selected your target area.  Building

If you have animals, we ask that you remove them during the showing or at least kennel/control them. 

You may find it a bit stressful if you're inexperienced, but use this time to get more familiar with the basics (marketing, leasing, tenant screening, understanding leases and landlord-tenant law in your area, building a contractor list, etc.).
