The noise from upstairs is annoying so next time I'd do more testing of the quality of soundproofing in the ceiling (older home so wasn't as good).

We want to cut through the noise  and bring more transparency and community to the space. 

Oh man, these posts about "now" being a terrble time to invest really grind my gears. 

Keep your day job and start grinding through being an agent.

It's all about grinding and finding a good enough deal.

It is difficult to maintain, it scratches, it warps, it stains, it needs to be cleaned with cleaners made for wood floors, pets tear it up, it transfers noise, it shows wear patterns, etc. 

One of our properties is on the far south side over my UW-Rock, which is my favorite rental spot because it's full of single family and duplex homes, lots of cul-du-sacs that keep traffic noise down, and near the interstate.

My recommendation is to grind it out for a few years.

As Trent mentioned above, the only way I'm taking a chance with a new co host without experience is if they are grinding their way through cold calls and earn my respect. 

And not for lack of grinding looking every day.
