I did not have a major amount of capital to start off with, but I rolled up my sleeves and got to work!

What truly interests me, is the home renovations/remodeling aspect, for instance I would love to take an older, distressed property that others would not dare to go near, and roll my sleeves up and do a full reno to where buyers are knocking down the door to get their hands on.

I don't know about you, but if I'm clearing $1,000 per DAY doing something that's relatively easy (compared to real estate investing), I don't know why I'd want to roll up my sleeves and get down into the trenches of REI.

Time to roll up the sleeves and go to work!

Rolled up my sleeves and totally renovated 1 unit at a time and rented them out as nice clean all new inside apartments.

I have a background in sales and also have a pretty solid grasp on online marketing so I have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to reselling (hopefully) But in the meantime I'm getting ready to learn by doing.

As of now, I am not too concerned with the loss of economies of scale since my scale is still small and I typically roll up my sleeves and do as much as I can by myself.I appreciate the positive comments, I'm very passionate about not starving to death and that ends up being quite the motivator.
