What truly interests me, is the home renovations/remodeling aspect, for instance I would love to take an older, distressed property that others would not dare to go near, and roll my sleeves up and do a full reno to where buyers are knocking down the door to get their hands on.

I don't know about you, but if I'm clearing $1,000 per DAY doing something that's relatively easy (compared to real estate investing), I don't know why I'd want to roll up my sleeves and get down into the trenches of REI.

As of now, I am not too concerned with the loss of economies of scale since my scale is still small and I typically roll up my sleeves and do as much as I can by myself.I appreciate the positive comments, I'm very passionate about not starving to death and that ends up being quite the motivator.
