I recently spent time working in Howard County, MD where I handled BHRP vouchers frequently which grew my interest in section 8 housing and encouraged me to make my first effort in Section 8 property which I purchased in Anne Arundel, MD.I am interested in learning more about individual investment strategies, especially funding as I though I appear to be "mortgaged out".

I live in western Howard county and not much familiar with these areas.

I am starting school for real estate in September with Howard Hanna and I will be looking to start with them in October.

@Alex Howard It is a matter of personal preference and risk tolerance but I think that I would open an account with etrade or something and take the money I would contribute to a 401k and put it into index funds.

Account Closed I use Howard Air, no complaints so far.

@Alex Howard we specializing in structuring purchase money mortgages...and I do a few of these a year...my personal play is a little different.
