Investment Info:

Single-family residence other investment.

Currently holding 4 single family rentals:

2 Market Rentals, Montgomery County, MD
1 Market Rental, College Park, MD
1 Section-8 Rental, Anne Arundel County, MD

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I am real estate obsessed. I have worked in real estate for 6 years now primarily in "luxury" property management. I recently spent time working in Howard County, MD where I handled BHRP vouchers frequently which grew my interest in section 8 housing and encouraged me to make my first effort in Section 8 property which I purchased in Anne Arundel, MD.I am interested in learning more about individual investment strategies, especially funding as I though I appear to be "mortgaged out".

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional Mortgages- 25% down

What was the outcome?

Cash-flow positive

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I have a lot to learn! All has gone fairly well so far though...
