Take old polluting, gas guzzlers off the streets and at the same time encourage people to buy new car which helps jump start the economy...

Denver has the big city feel, you'd have to take the good that Jon mentioned with some of the not so good (heat, some pollution, nasty traffic) that smaller cities don't suffer from.But I do agree, transplanted here from the Mid-West, I love this place over everything else I've seen.

A dealership almost certainly includes a garage, and that includes oil tanks and other sources of pollution.

There used to be a large commercial smelter there that operated for many decades and polluted a lot of land with heavy metals.

Tenants might complain and file law suits for airborne pollutants.

For those who don’t know, percoethelyne (Dry cleaning fluid) is a really nasty pollutant. 

We also have tight construction laws regarding impact to sewer system and lake pollution. 

There are various reasons for this but two primary ones is that it has water pollution issues from Mexico.
