So, a friend of mine who's a hvac tech or whatever. He does commercial low pressure stuff. I don't know the techy term for it.

Anyways, he gets to do some pretty regular travel and he's in Colorado for 2 weeks working. He's posting up random pics of buildings in Colorado, apparently some left over snow(in Vail, where that is) and he's talking about not coming back to the Arizona sunshine.

I'm thinking, whats the big deal with Colorado? Is it really 'that' nice?

No, is absolutely horrible. In the winter the snow starts in October and snows at least a foot every day. If you don't have a dog sled and a good pack of dogs you're trapped in your house until at least April, maybe July. Its nearly a hundred degrees out all summery long, from at least March until well past Thanksgiving. In the spring and fall the winds blow like crazy and most people have to rebuild their houses from the foundations up at least once a year. There aren't any trees at all. The forest fires are crazy and if your house survives the wind it will get burnt up every year. Its just a terrible place and nobody every wants to live here.
