The main issue is that to do the ADU you have to spend so much bringing other items up to code like electrical, plumbing, lighting (windows) and egress.

Our main carrier policy converts to vacant dwelling policy at completion for duration of term and can be renewed on case by case basis if unfinished or unsold.

most land has more than 6 months supply which means it's a sellers market. that's the same in our main market in Columbus Ohio and miami florida as well where I relocated to.
