The biggest ripple effect in the coming years will probably be from something we do NOT see coming. or at least 99.9% of us.  

Go look at MLS and search for indoor pool cabins.  

It would be 2   2 bedroom 1 bath units no living room with kitchens and indoor washer and dryers in each unit Any thoughts of which is a better way to go ? 

Heating costs go up in winter, as does electricity due to the reduced natural light and more people indoors.

I also extended the kitchen / dining room in the bottom unit by about 200 square feet to provide a usable indoor space and replacing some of the covered outside patio.

if it's still in decent condition, no ripples or waves in it, and depending on what type of material it is ...
