A cat or a chihuaha is OK.....A Rotweiller or Pit Bull or Snake is NOT OK.Always ask how many people will potentially live at the unit....You don't want the mother, and grandma, and 4 kids living in the 3 bedroom 1 bath unit.....whatever number they say...always mentally add one more person to that.Regarding Deposits and Application Fees.........If (before they even fill out the application for the background check) they say I don't want to pay $45.00 for a deposit fee if I'm not going to get approved .....that's a red flag.

We had a somewhat negative experience with a "project management" company and the "gold star" contractor that they linked us up with for our first flip in our local area; we met this project management company here on BP and see them trolling the forums constantly trying to find others to sell their snake oil to.

The two major ones I dont mind sharing and we use when an emergency arises but are more costly (however you pay for reliability around here) - are Blue Dot for mechanical and plumbing and Snake N Rooter for Plumbing (sewer/drain) - however Snake N Rooter's what I call cost to simply break out the tool box and show up (min charge) is about $35-50 or so more than Blue Dot's min charge.
