The NAR code of conduct allows you to prevent offers in person.

License fees, MLS dues, NAR and Local Realtor Board dues, Sentrilock fees, Continuing Education fees, costs for signs, Errors and Omissions insurance, fees from your brokerage.  

Maybe you would like to offer some thoughts on the matter.As to the MLS or agents giving up their data it is already done albeit not openly or willingly, and I am involved in a web project to make it available first to members and then when it comes out of beta it will go to the public.Information should be free and flow like water.This attempt to hold back information is short sighted on the part of NAR, CAR and the rest and is completely unsustainable as we will all see shortly.The advent of the broker/agent owned MLS's was the death knell for this concept but the body doesn't stink enough yet so many doubt that it is dead.Because of this current ..whatever we are calling it.. crisis I am finding more and more people ready to talk about alternatives to the current status quo.And just so you will know I don't feel bum kicked at all.

Next, (as I am sure this is NOT an isolated incident), lets ban together and get NAR to do something about it or perhaps our State Legislators, governors, etc.

For comparison, the national housing inventory is also at a 4.2-months supply, according to NAR;- Townhome/condominium sales fell 2.9 percent year-over-year, with 641 units sold.

Where I live almost all of the residential brokerages make all agents under them sign up for NAR.

According to preliminary data from the NAR (National Assoc. of Realtors), the number of investment properties, as a total percentage of total home sales, is declining.

Now, as a Property Manager, with a Broker's license, and a member of the NAR, as well as NARPM, I do not currently own, but manage for about 40 clients.

87% failure is from NAR, its just a well known number.
