Here's the kicker - the troublesome matter could stem from an event that happened before you acquired the LLC, but because the LLC is on the hook for the trouble, AND because you now own the LLC, YOU are stuck dealing with the issue and the result.There are other issues involved with transferring business entities instead of the property owned by the entities.
