The Big question in my mind is will this be another big "R" as in Recession or a Big "D" Essentially by becoming liquid, renting for a while, being patient and buying on the Market DIP you are able to again RIDE the wave up when the market rebounds which it will in the SF Bay area again in the next UP cycle.

@Julie Marquez  that's what I thought.. spec builders are not going to get this deal.WA fed is great at this product they do a lot of it here in PDX market.. congrats on building your new home.. enjoy the process if you have not done it already.. just be patient.. sub trades are killer right now.

A borrower might prefer to just deed the property to the lender and simultaneously have the note marked "paid in full" and a mortgage satisfaction recorded in the real estate records.
