I agree with just about everyone above that the price should be either discussed upfront or in the engagement letter before services began.It's different to know how much they saved you because tax preparation typically isn't a service to save you taxes, you'll want to meet with them during the year for this.

@Alan Asriants, my wife, who is a designer, and her other design focused friends, refer to these as "Dude Flips".  

A big reason for it is that we make our properties top-performers with professional experience in the acquisition of a property, to the professional design, and excellent management at discounted rate for clients (15%)! 

By partner, I mean reduced design fees in exchange for a share of the profit.

When we engage appraisers to appraise for loans, we do not tell them the loan amount, and we don’t allow them communication with the borrower.
