I got a quote from a painter for $4700, and Furnace for $3300, Refri $1100k, Stove $800, dish washer/microwave/disposal $550, refinish hardwood floor and starway $2500, Kitchen Cabinet $2400, counter top $400, lighting $500, security alarm $400, landscape $1800, bathroom wall and floor tiles,Kitchen vinyl floor plus laundry room tile total $1200, refinish bathtub $500, New windows $800, new doors 2 of them $250, toilet+vanity $700,Kitchen and bathroom faucet $260, all new locks $300, roofing(patch up garage) $250, all other materials such as concrete(patch up drive way) sheetrock and others $2000. total $24710.Plus I am paying my contractor $200 per day to remodel the kitchen and bathroom with some plumbing and electrical works.

The problem started 3 weeks into the lease, the toilet was clogged up, I called a plumber and he unclogged the toilet, everything was good until a week later when the sink and bathtub and toilet clogged up.

And whenever we bring it up to him he keeps telling us we’ll your rent is cheap so I should able to use your washer as I please.... which is a very unsanitary thing to do, and as of this week my bathtub is clog and I had a talk with him he keeps bringing the same complaints he had how we should do this and that and other problems we had before cause the rent is cheap and so you guys shouldn’t be breaking things...

@Daniel LevinHi Daniel,If they shut the water off, that means no flushing--that means it will still probably get used (until it's FULL) and then the bathtub (sometimes) gets used (disgusting)....so letting the water get shut off is detrimental to YOU....Also re-connections sometimes come with an added deposit required held for X amount of time.Just my 2 cents...Good Luck!
