I needed somewhere/someone to really iron out where i am financially, what i qualify for, what type of credit I need, basic fees when purchasing a property. just a baseline to move up from, You know. 

To compare, I took a look at RentJungle and ironically found this exact building listed, as well as a few others in the neighborhood.

The sewer lines are also likely cast iron which is likely to fail and be costly to replace.

Kind of ironic!?

I'm a practicing attorney myself, but I purposely avoid handling a lot of real estate transactions (ironic, isn't it?)

May also have issues with cast iron plumbing lines, parts of the house are knob and tube electrical which has been hacked over the years...

Ironically, over 24 years. #1 said (for his tax reasons) the payment needs to be $425.
