The point again, teach and charge others for teaching, something that is illegal, then you have deception, plain a simple, if you are wrong and make it a business, you're at risk.You can also read where the FTC can govern transactions of individuals.Knowingly or unknowingly sell a product that is deceptive, defective, causes public harm or suggests illegal activities, they can hammer you.Those in that business might double check their stuff, those getting messed over might begin bringing the matter up to the FTC as the broaden their arena of influence. :)

As an update I called the police to ask about going in the house with dogs and they said if you let the dog out you can be sued, if you feed the dog and he becomes sick, you can be sued, if you go in the house (with proper notice) and the animal attacks you and you harm the animal...you guessed it you can be sued.

You may also discuss with your instructor, but the person that is most at risk by your failure to disclose properly (besides you) is your broker.In my opinion, there is not any harm in disclosing, their is potential harm in NOT disclosing.

I'm certain that, at the very least, that I am going to fire the PM.The losing money/being lied to aspect is a big issue for me regarding this matter, but more than anything I don't want anyone else to get harmed by these people.
