I would have taken a discount of $300 to $400 and we both would win.I recently switched over to Innago and they accept credit card and AHC Payments.

Besides teaching about discounted cash flows, the man was a dealmaking genius.

I have a seller interested in selling her property at a 25% discount (less fix up costs etc.)due to an illness and need for money fast. 

If you believed you had clear title, you wouldn't be discounting them so heavily.  

If you see a bunch of them offering something similar, like say a discount for a 12 month storage contract, or multi-vehicle discounts, then there's a really good reason they are all doing it (likely from lessons they had to learn the hard/slow/long way), so you are going to copy those ideas first and foremost.

Also, make sure you're factoring in a discounted rental rate as well. 

With inventory tight and demand high sellers don't have much reason to give a discount.

It was landlords that were giving their tenants discounted rent whether it was through naivety, kindness, stupidity, etc.
