All the windows have shades & in the room they are black out.

Long before mini blinds even existed, every window had roller shades.

Although we love pets, our STR is not designed to be most pet friendly ( white couch, lighter shade chairs, etc).

I like the east side, where you get shade from the mountains around 4 pm.   

Our strategy will now be to utilize the outdoor space as efficiently as possible, including adding a raised garden bed for growing produce and plenty of shaded landscaping areas. 

Black may make the room look darker.

Thats a major component of the property they are asking to remove: A sound barrier, shade, privacy etc. 

Please optimize cabinet layout for more storage-Instead of 2 pendant lights over kitchen island, I would like 4 pendant lights over the island-I would like the home to be pre-wired for a door bell, security system, speakers, power shades, and TVs-Change the flooring to large format porcelain tile that looks like concrete-I would like floating vanities in all bathroomsYou get the point.

Replaced old laminate and disgusting carpets with modern looking LVP flooring and painted the interior a modern darker grey.
