Documentation is critical to cover any of the what-ifs scenarios that could happen and strain relationships, if not discussed and written down in advance.

If you move to Utah you'll have to completely restart and it might put a strain.

More importantly, can these expenses be worked into your current budget without causing undue and unnecessary strain for you and the family? 

I switched because I am a part-time agent with a full time job in the Army, and the requirements for me to physically go to the brokerage for EM, documents, checks, etc. was a little straining for me. eXp allows me to do everything online, which is much more convenient.

But if it's going to put you in a dangerous financing strain initially, may not be worth it.

Because teenagers can be unpredictable sometimes, and strain your nerves--which might lead to less than "Just Business", and more like "Just Dad".And a Lease might take that flexibility away from you.Just my 2 cents.
