Along with the medical system, there are several Colleges (including Texas Tech University), a robust farming and manufacturing industry (including some of the best vineyards in Texas), and the fact that the closest city over 100k is 2 hours away, the economy is booming in the "Hub City".

In my firsthand opinion, RMt's better days are in the past:Used to be a center of tobacco industry in eastern NC - the 'Golden East' (even the mall is named Golden East Crossing)Used to be a thriving hub for textiles (literally days after NAFTA was signed, the textile plants closed)Used to have headquarters for Hardee's (it's where Hardee's began)Used to be a banking center of Eastern NC - People's Bank merged with Planters Bank to be Centura Bank; RBC bought Centura to make RBC Centura (that's where I worked, before and after RBC)... that didn't last, as PNC bought it out; I think they maintain a presence there, but a much smaller oneThat said, the real estate market is on the cheap side, and if you have a tenant in hand looking for a place there, then maybe... but also check out other things like the crime rate per capita, medium income, etc...

It also has around 9 schools, 4-5 hospitals, a biotech hub, the new WooSox stadium and 2800 luxury apartments being built in downtown Worcester.

There is an upfront costs for the hub and the RBOYS RLA app, but no recurring fees.

(Try going into Home Depot and telling them you need to join some hub-type cast iron drain pipe, so can they please direct you to a hacksaw, hammer, oakum, asbestos joint runner, lead bars, a ladle, and blowtorch.  

Long Beach is quickly becoming an aerospace hub with companies like SpaceX, Spinlaunch, Virgin Orbit, Boeing, etc. along with Mercedes Benz, the Long Beach Port, and the Long Beach Airport.

While tourism is one of the driving forces in the local economy, Orlando is also an important high-tech hub.

We are the national hub for FedEx, so plenty of warehouse/distribution/manufacturing blue collar jobs.
