Poor communication, long delays, big mistake.

I plan to move back to India soon and was wondering if at all it would be possible to remotely manage my properties from India (12 hour time difference makes real time communication a lot harder).

Communication and consistency are key.

@Evelin Negrete - If you don't want to manage tenant communications, hire a virtual assistant for $5-7 dollars an hour and have them take tenant inquires.

Typically you do not need to do it as a double closing, you can do it in one closing you just need to communicate with the owner of the property during that time. 

I had never been to her property, all communication between was initiated by her, and I knew it was just a legal method of delaying her eviction.

In my experience, once it gets to the no communication stage it usually never works out

Lofty is facilitating all communications operations/voting. most of these properties have been burning cash and additional loans are being taken to repair the properties and even pay property tax bills

On Mandi’s loan, communication was poor both by our loan officer (who no longer handles loans) and by the broker involved in the deal, who did not property communicate what was being relayed. 

Like you said, one needs to be able to find deals, know that they have found a deal, have the skills to develop leads and lead sources, be able to negotiate the deal when found, communicate well with others.Often deals start out as opportunities.
