I have a house close to Wichita Falls Texas and I live about 8 hours away from the property. I have some renters that are right at a month behind. The renters will not answer my calls or return them. I sent them a certified letter that basically was the pay or quit form. They knew it was coming and refused to sign for it.

Does anyone know of someone that serves papers in this area? I have never done an eviction in this area.

At this point you can still do it yourself. Send a 3 day notice to vacate by certified and regular mail.   Add a couple of days for mail to get there and then you can file whether they sign for the certified or not. Contact the JP Court in the county in the mean time and have them email you the form to file.  You. An overnight the form and the court costs to the court   They will have the Constable/sheriff serve the tenant and a court date will be set. You will need to be there for the court date. It should take roughly 21 days total.
