My entire farm is worth less than $250K, let alone a TV set or linens.   

In our first house, we have things that we enjoy ourselves, such as nice mattresses, linens, etc. 

Good price for good mid-grade paint.I do flat white for ceilings, egg shell for walls in either a linen or off white, then do semi gloss bright white for trim.

Everything else comes from WalMart (linens, utensils, consumables). 

Never again.I think the apps that load the receipt data are clever, but I would still hang on to the paper.My two cents.PS - The other tip is do the receipts once a month, not once a year.

I was attempting to be a little clever choosing the term vacant (as in real estate) but it came off wrong. 

The only way to really make it work is to somehow cleverly find a super killer deal under the table before anyone else does, or really stick to the outskirts.
