I don’t have a specific recommendation off the top of my head, but for HOA/condo insurance, it’s usually best to start with a broker who specializes in multifamily or association policies.

In my personal experiences a lot of structural items start with bad drainage.

While I fully invest remotely these days, I wouldn't start new in REI in a remote market until learning the ropes in my local market.

Start looking at the places you’ve stayed yourself and get to know what those places look like in other parts of the year as well.

Might want to start that conversation with the lender if this looks like a possibility.

Why not start thinking bigger?

If I were you, I would start this way, if you are new to real estate investing.

I just don't want to start working with a realtor and waste time and end up with no real solid prospects for buying.
