As @Matt M. and @David Hunter have said, take your resume with a well laid out cover letter around to the offices in the area you would like to work.

With your net worth, you could potentially become a loan guarantor on a deal, which may not get you any compensation, but it builds your resume so that you could qualify for your own Fannie loan later.

And now you have a gap in your resume that hurts when you go back to apply for a 9-5 job, because it's obvious that you failed at sales and the art of persuasion, which everyone knows are pretty critical regardless of career field.
