Hello everyone, I'm about to take my pre license real estate course. I'm looking at some different firms. I'm trying to decide if I should start with a firm that has training but starts you off with 50/50 or go with a firm with very little training and start with 100% commission with a $500 per transaction fee. I do plan on getting involved with the Mike ferry coaching program, which last for 1 year. If you where a new agent what would you choose? Willie

@Willie Smith  Hands down go with the best training you can find.  There is SO MUCH to know about not only how to find clients but how to manage a transaction, etc.  Mike Ferry is great, but you'll also want someone with expert local knowledge to hold your hand for a little while.  Get at least 30 transactions under your belt before you consider a lower cost brokerage.
