As the winning bidder, you're in the awkward position of having to essentially standby with your capital tied up as you rely on the lender to do its job of seeing things through.

It's a bit of an awkward situation. 

Granted it might make for an awkward Thanksgiving dinner, but I'm sure Dad would rather see his granddaughter in a house, than living on the street to get 3 grand from me.For the financial responsibility lecture, save it.

Did the tenant guilt you into handing over the keys during an awkward point in the meeting?   

i have cringed walking through many homes that have had awkward remodels/additions.

Another thing she brought up was that if we were to move the oven and micro over a foot or so then the microwave would have had an awkward offset between a 1' and a 3' cabinet instead of being centered between two 2' cabinets. 

Sometimes meeting them in person and introducing myself make me feel awkward. 

It's awkward to be too friendly and it's awkward to be too standoffish....
