However, it is an attractive market for millennial professionals looking for a more affordable and family oriented locale.I’d appreciate contributions from experienced REIs in the BP community in filling the gaps on financing strategies, developing better market intelligence; biggest potential risks, finding off-market deals, etc. 

Look for areas with revitalization including business growth that have the amenities many millennials and others are looking for such as cool hangouts, modern housing, a vibrant nightlife, parks and city trails for outdoor activities combined with a strong economic growth. 

Millennials hop jobs and move around the country.

Hey BP, If you could go and invest in SFR BRRR/Flips in any affordable growing market Corridor of your choosing, with long term boomer/millennial growth,  where would it be?? 

Also millennials don't use cash.

This holds especially true for millennials searching to get their foot into the job market, and have not been able to find their place in the old model.This results in the need for everyone to begin looking for ways to earn passive income to adapt to the new gig economy.

I think my love of real estate investing began as a little kid playing Monopoly"I have noticed the same tendencies for me coming out as a kid, except as a Millennial I played Age of empires and Sim City...  

Millennials and Baby boomers are wanting to rent and the job market lends to people being more transient.  

While I'm watching and learning the finer points of negotiating with sellers, filling out contracts and estimating rehabs, I'm almost always at the local REI stuff (MNREIA, MNREC, Millennial Investor Focus Group, and more) trying to network and learn what I can about marketing for motivated sellers.I grew up in Kansas City (Go Royals!)
