Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but couldn't find anywhere else to post this.I'd love for there to be an award 'tracker' that shows where you are in relation to receiving the reward.

You can go to Home Depot or Lowes and price the hose line and additional part cost and double it to give a fair estimate on the repair cost.In court the judge will award on the actual amount of the repairs shown by either multiple estimates or the bill itself so failure to provide evidence should be cause for concern.As for the cleanliness of the place on move-in that is something that should have been addressed then in writing that the landlord will allow a deduction of X amount or have the home clean prior to your occupancy.Renters should leave the property in (show) sale or move-in condition for cleanliness and most important take Pictures right before you walk out if a walk through checklist is not filled out.
