We might be able to use it for hunting and winter sports depending on the area we buy in.- If we buy a couple thousand acres of ranch land, but want to turn it into a wind or solar farm, how quickly does the land need to become active with the actual farming of natural resources?

There's always the nagging thought that they could turn out like Brentwood Forest where they force more owner occupants, but I guess that's a risk I'm willing to accept.I think they're a great investment ESPECIALLY when there's a mix of sfr, multi, and condo (and condos in different condo associations).

I'm not a 1031 exchange expert but have bought and sold 6 properties this way in the past 2 years (1031 exchanges)Would be glad to help how I can - can also give you some tips on what I've learned may be beneficial for estate planning as far as navigating Assisted Living/Medicaid HCBS etc - (Tip - unless you want your mother to go private pay in assisted living and drain all your money you may want to start getting assets out of her name now - guess it depends on where she'd want to live and how much you want to spend) -- Anyways we've been trying to become experts at our facility on HCBS and the different waiver programs (specifically Physically Disabled - which your brother may fall under at some point and Frail Elderly which your mother can fall under at some point)

If he is going to terminate the lease it has to be before November 1 2018 and after February 1 2018 which was his idea and we agreed on that (in Wisconsin no one wants to move in a blizzard and it’s hard to find new tenants in winter) I have legal documents for a lease, and a blank addendum page to write these details.

The foreclosure process involves immediate winterization and they turn off the power and also the sump pumps.
