Darker the better.

If you've done your homework, and used the calculators on BP, and know the numbers, then it doesn't matter what our 'darker selves' thinks...those doubts we have. 

We added pergola to the roof by the pool for shade and added solar panels to decrease the electric bills.

It adds beautiful curb appeal to our house, shades our living room windows (we are in a hot climate), and adds a lot of charm to the property.I live in a house and am the owner.

It was a very neat, professional pipe theft, no damage at all :)We had light timers and window shades and a radio playing, but did not put in an alarm system until after we were hit.

I have some brick to patch on the sides and it'll probably end up being slightly different color-wise than the other two shades, which leads me to the decision to paint the whole house once the patch work is complete.

The GOOD thing about the tree is that it's beautiful, shades the house and most of the backyard.
