I should note that my husband continued to work full-time, which was additional peace of mind but he didn't/doesn't have to work, he just loves his job.I think the biggest myth is that you have to be a millionaire to be financially free - I wasn't, but because rental income covered/s my living expenses comfortably and we had ample reserves, I was still just as financially free as someone making millions.
