My husband wants to keep his Nevada state residency to file income tax there (NV doesn't have state income tax) but we would like to file jointly for federal income taxes.On the Utah State tax website it says: "A married couple who files a joint federal return may file separate Utah returns ONLY IF:one spouse is a full-year Utah resident, ANDthe other spouse is a full-year nonresident."

The reason you see a person’s name and all their entities listed in a lawsuit is because Plaintiff (the suing party) attorneys have to list everyone and every entity that can be remotely tied to a cause of action, otherwise, if enough time passes and through the legal process discover that a separate entity or just a person was truly liable and they didn’t name them in the lawsuit, they are out of luck.

.- One SFR had a tenant just move out, another is going through an eviction, so with half of the portfolio vacant, it's decision time.I'm trying to decide whether to sell them as a portfolio (at least the 3 Georgia ones as a portfolio, Iowa would probably have to be sold separately), or get the other 2 empty, fix them up and sell them all to retail homebuyers.
