@Robert T. the problem is that you are letting the mice inside, which then creates an odor/health/removal problem.

It is reasonable to expect waste is properly cleaned up from common areas, and there should be no offensive odors emanating from the residence.

Our property managers have been there multiple times, and can only smell the faintest odor of it, and can’t find the source.

There was no odor of ammonia  or cat pee or chemistry equipment.

As for concerns about water spills, modern cork-backed vinyl plank flooring is designed to be water-resistant, so it shouldn't absorb water or develop odors over time.

I also have had MORE issues with cats over dogs, cats leave an odor and no matter what it seems every cat enjoys urinating in every room of the house, dogs for the most part go outside and the owners know it is their responsibility to clean up after their dogs even outside. 

This is where I was reprimanded from the state of Oregon I had to do a security offering when I fouled up and did fractionlized deals not knowing the law .   

I am worried that the odor has penetrated one of the commercial units (a bank). 

Was it an odor issue that was rectified in three hours?
