I'm considering specifically a Latin American country after I do my research and fly there several times to visit for extended periods  - I speak and read enough Spanish to get around although I'm not fluent or highly proficient. 

I often feel like I cannot relate to many successful real estate investors on these podcasts as many seem to live in much more affordable parts of the country and thus have lower cost of living/mortgages/etc which really helps accelerate their success, it seems.

There's many paths to grow your real estate portfolio just make sure you pick the one that is right for you and remember this real estate game is a long term investment. 

And the SOLs are not consistent across the country, as each state has its own period. 

If you position yourself on the outer edge of that moving path of progress, there could be opportunities for STR/MTR/LTR all in the same neighborhood, which gives you that desired strong pivot-ability.  

Need help getting clarity on the best path to take. and would like to be briefed on the recommended path on best next steps.
