They talked to us about how they met and why things were getting tense - it was a very interesting experience - I don't usually get involved in other people business either  - but sometimes , you're in a position where you feel like you have a moral obligation to say or do something - if we called the police I don't know how long it would have taken them to get there  -  but it seemed like something that couldn't be ignored at the time.

Some tenants are just awesome and have the moral compass and responsibility to know that their landlord is  awaiting payment and that they must be on time.

I'm an agent as well and looking to boost my listings up.

For me personally, are there any moral strategies that one can employ to use something like this to my advantage?

The standards you are held to as a licensed agent are decent moral standards.

But if it does, then, you may be able to deduct your entire rehab costs for the house this year.That is separate from the accelerated depreciation so both things would boost your tax savings.i.e.

Maybe meetings in person are going to give me the boost I need. 

It is a neat way to boost your retirement account.
