I'm no foreigner when it comes to hiring, firing, screening and interviewing but when it comes to construction workers, handymen and laborers, i'm like a fish out of water.

It sounds like the owners are just fishing for the a once in a lifetime buyer at an inflated price.

I guess the more lines you throw into the water the greater the fishing 🎣.

Every realtor I've spoken to (granted, they are fishing for commission) says that it will be a very loooooong time before this place will ever recover it's 2006 value and it's still on the downslide.
