I think it's a personality thing, I made really wealthy people even more wealthy for some time and one day I just said enough is enough, I don't need to put my energy to someone affording yacht #2 or 3, I was tired of watching average people get scammed left right and center by so called "gurus".

The whole system is messed up where all the sympathies and assistance are for "so called" needies....just you are a landlord you are not "wealthy".
