Some of the facebook groups I monitor for STR information seem to indicate that the hotel lobby is pushing for stringent regulations to be implemented.

Once the hotel lobby gets more organized and realizes what a huge threat this movement is they are going to spend unprecedented amounts of time and money lobbying politicians to regulate the stuffing out of it. 

You will then have one of the largest lobbying groups (NAR) complaining about the unlicensed activity involved with wholesaling.

Stay in the lobby and look for nametags with the RED DOT on them.
