There were complaints about a new construction in New Braunfels, but that is different from a value add.At this point, their website (https://grocapitus.com/our-portfolio/) shows 6 completed MF exits, in GA, FL, TX, AZ and SC, with IRR from 16 to 21%. 

Certainly sounds like it could be scam worthy, but when I looked on their website it seemed well done.

Due to my background in consumer lending, I am highly skeptical of paystubs and other address verification due to the widely available websites that are out there to generate forms relatively easily... so I like to verify the information by contacting the listed employer using their listed number on Google to avoid possibly calling a friend etc.

There's a website called Furnished Finder that traveling nurses use a lot, it is also for anyone looking to relocate or who needs an interim solution.

I've now learned that this is because so few respectable vendors will work with them after not being paid for jobs that the ones who will work with them are not necessarily the A squad..
