Low prices or bookings

How do you stay profitable during off-peak times? Do you lower prices, offer promotions, or focus on longer-term bookings?

Hey @Dayana Castellon, I do lower our prices but only a little bit. I don't go into the dirt because that is who you get as guests.

I make sure whatever property I am looking at will do well based on seasonality. Our place is full for about 5 months a year and dead the rest.

There is no way I am going to cut our nightly rate to 1/2 or 1/3 to get some bookings. It isn't worth the potential damage from less than stellar guests.
