Hey Tanner, welcome to the BP community and congrats on your wedding and new journey into real estate!

I started listening to the podcast and reading real estate books about two months ago, and I’m excited to take my first step into real estate investing.I’m currently in Spokane, WA, and I’m pre-approved for a loan.

Im generally distrustful of most people/funds in the real estate world.

They took a long time to respond to emails.As you embark on or continue your business buying journey in the new year, I know you are going to see more opportunities come your way and experience more success if you can remember this lesson.Between 1981 and 1999 I purchased 8 businesses, while also being a part time real estate investor.  

Try not to get overwhelmed as there’s a lot of information on BP and many avenues within real estate investing.When I was starting out, I was interested in so many strategies, but I discovered that I did my best when I focused on one or two and really built my knowledge around them.

Since this opportunity came up, I've begun to take real estate more seriously as a path to financial freedom.

I’ve been in the real estate game for a while, and as the CFO of [Your Company Name], I usually stick to what we know best: developing and managing Class B multifamily projects—20-50 unit properties in rural southeast US, like Georgia or Alabama.

My clients are mainly real estate developers, PE funds and individual investors doing syndications and my core skill is in real estate valuation / due diligence across real estate asset classes. 

Although I see this person has now morphed into just being a real estate agent as i suspect he was letting way too much business slip through his hands just trying to be a wholesaler..
