We are entirely new to the process so we're leaning towards going with a GC to make things easy, but been reading too many horror stories, waitlists, delays etc.Some planned reno includes: kitchen and bathrooms, wall tiling, fencing, exterior & interior painting, window treatments.Thank you!

Added vinyl windows, vinyl exterior trim (soffit, facia, some exterior walls, carport ceiling), new architectural roof, new cabinets and granite in kitchen, new fixtures and cabinets/tops as well as tile in baths.

New roof, electrical, AC, windows, plumbing, added a 2nd shower,12x20 deck off the back door, all new interior/exterior doors, tile in bathroom floors and LVT the rest of the house.

This is how I renovated a duplex in 2020 with only $6,000 (entire 2800sqft interior painting, refinished/re-faced two kitchens and replaced all appliances in each with used/like-new appliances, new sinks, new tile backsplashes, new hardware, new sinks/faucet, 25% flooring replaced, and one bathroom (everything but the shower which was fine as-is).

On my brand new condo in PDC I had some cracked tiles that were replaced, a plumbing issue that got resolved and I had an AC unit that got replaced.

Right now they either have tile that easily gets moldy or outdated inserts from the 90's.
